There is a clearer picture on the ITV website, but I have to say this livery is not the most exciting I've ever seen. Its silver with a bit of black here and there, and possibly a few hints of Petronas green. Maybe after several years of this we'll come to recognise it as distinctively Merc the way the Ferraris are always red, but first impression definitely wasn't "wow, that looks smart", more a case of thinking it was like Mclaren but with interesting bits removed.

yeah the picture on Crash doesn't do this beaut any justice. Checkout ... .planetf1.com/

I like the Petronas with the pale blue stripe through it. Doesn't look bad at all, I like it but most certainly doesn't scream 'Wow'. All in all it's not
disappointing but missing something.....

The wheels are interesting, with the Petronas acqua-green between the black and the silver.
But I agree. The choosen silver seems a bit uninspiored. I was not expecting a chromed approach, but they could do better

Looks like a West-McLaren. Not bad but not very imaginative either.

I hope some of the new/renewed teams come up with some dramatic colors and good looking liveries this year.

Always fun to have some new colors going around the track.

That link above to GPupdate is a good gallery but didn't change my first impression. Actually, when they first produced that photo-shopped picture which Crash has been using, of the silver with grey panels, and the solid coloured Petronas green rear wing, I said I quite liked that. To be honest, I now think that mock-up looks more stylish and distinctive than this final design.
