F1 » Angry Schumi rejects claims he doesn't race fair

He has been back in the F1 spotlight for barely a month, but already Mercedes Grand Prix 2010 signing Michael Schumacher has found himself on the receiving end of some rather uncomfortable questions...

Yes of course some journos go too far. as in this instance. I personally think its indefensible.

And Mercedes will become the victims if they pull interviews etc because again the media would level accusations of "mclaren style management" or "corporate image" etc.

Like i said, Fleet street and its like make the rules nowadays. Even the government run in fear of the media lol

He told the truth to speedtv. Somewhere in between the lying started. My guess is Merc. (tongue in cheek). None the less I'm sure now that MS is in the series plenty of questions regaurding character or lack of will be brought up. I'm sure telling a fib will be a lot easier to explain than all the MS bull. And as I said before lie, spy, crashgate were all offenses that should have drawn a ban for a period of time. But in F1 everyone is allowed back in. It's a snake pit.

Not sure if his past is haunting him, all 3 incidents that the kiddies hold dear happened some time ago, and was grilled mercilessly in pretty much every forum at the time. These topics have been debated to death, should be dead by now, but you know how some just can't live in the now. It's like Senna being the greatest, well, he's dead ... move on and deal with it already, all your pissin and moanin won't bring him another victory or championship.

This guy was just trying to provoke a reaction, as stated by many already. Good to see that the intelligent can clearly see that.

In close racing contact will happen. But there has not been close racing for so long, everyone has forgotten about real hard racing. I remember after Jerez 97 that Piquet commented that this was how championships were won in his day. F1 has become too namby pamby. Bring back real racing with real drivers!

Well JET. If there is anyone you could blame, it's the PR. They are the ones who should've briefed the press but seriously it didn't surprise me at all he would be grilled about the past. Anyway, launch is done. End of story. Now lets get racing.

crash are missing more exciting news.

campos will not attend ANY of the testing sessions, and will only appear at bahrain if dallara releases the chassis

top ten cars in quali will have to start on the tyres they use in q3. so if they go for fast lap on softs, they will have to start on softs

this is better news than all the tripe on this site over schumi.
