F1 » Angry Schumi rejects claims he doesn't race fair

He has been back in the F1 spotlight for barely a month, but already Mercedes Grand Prix 2010 signing Michael Schumacher has found himself on the receiving end of some rather uncomfortable questions...

But had it been Ferrari who had the mass damper and the FIA attempted to ban it, then Ferrari could have used their veto to ensure they kept their advantage! How is this fair? How can one team in any sport be allowed to adapt the rules to suit themselves?
It is a disgrace and one that the FIA and Ferrari should be punished for. Punished in a far more painful way than McLaren ever were.
But this is not a just world.
It is amusing to see the FIA/FERRARI aliance starting to collapse. As Ferrari and its fans laughed and cheered at the McLaren/Ron Dennis witch hunt, little did they know that the evil within the FIA could turn on them. And in a similar way in which the Germans cheered Hitler throught the streets in 1939, now there seems to be a come-uppance.

contd, this is accepted by all. and sometimes, if rules have to be rewritten, one person may be invited to reccommend changes etc.
all these are no reason for posters to lose their cool. we all have opinions, so just leave it at that, and move on. 2010 is another year and another season!

(by the way, this site keeps crashing on me, is it happening to others??)

Rob

Your Fairytales on the DD issue stagger me.

Before a car turned up with a DD Brawn asked for clarification....IN JUNE 2008(during 2009 design process).

Because BMW vetoed there Rule rewrite, it stayed as it was.

So brawn in effect was asking for clarification on the DD without showing it!
If you cant be bothered to read about it, and conjure up some fantasy conspiracy, the more you sound like a disgruntled and vitriolic McLaren fanboy.

All baseless complaints by all the Femboy drivers.Racing at the top flight is a mans game and most of the new drivers these days seem to drive and act effeminate,Roseberg,Hamilton,Button complain and whine like little girls.THIS is what racing is all about, wheel to wheel, mano a mano, action on every lap.Michael Schumacher will make a great example of how F-1 should be.No wussy driving please.

ALan D.. I gave a perfect example of how the special powers worked. And you give no response. Read pages 6,7. And Jet I am through explaining politics with you on the subject of DD. You have NO clue. Just watch the races and yell for Merc. That's the best you can do. Honda,Toy and Williams three neediest in F1 in 2009 and they got help. WIlliams even got money from Bernie.

People always bring up the same three incidents as proof of Schumacher being a cheat. Many drivers break the rules and are penalized. MS was penalized in Monaco and it probably cost him the championship. He was also penalized for the incident with JV and again no championship. Had the Hill incident happened at the end of his career you can bet that he would not have been given the benefit of doubt (Monaco) and would have been penalized for that too. It seems that he has already been punished so let's move on.

BTW - I think that Lewis has alrady passed MS on the number of penalties received. That is pretty good for only three seasons! Just think what it will be by the time he retires.

Toyota needy? really?

Williams got money so that Brawn could get their TV money of 2008(a topic we have discussed).
So why were Williams needy of that?

And Rob just to straighten this story.....
Who was the FIA's harshest critic during the FIA vs FOTA war of summer 2009? John Howett of Toyota!!!!!!

Dont you think he would have spoken of this "gift" you say he received from the FIA during the height of the tensions?

Oh dear Rob a glaring big whole in your fantasy story...... :-o

JET, when someone is in the public eye like Schumi they will have to put up with harsh questions even be reminded of past demeanors. It's unavoidable. The press can be merciless and it's their job to put people in the hot seat World Champion or not.
