Will they forgive him for all the snide remarks he made about them and their team over the years ?

Plenty also follow MOTOGP, thousands make the pilgramage for both Spanish races, but the attitude in Spain towards the Italians is not great and they know this.

I am being nice when I say "Not great" too, checkout the reaction when Simonicelli fell at Valencia in 2009....

I guess anything can be overlooked, if he is winning. The added stress of seeing Schumacher in a Brawn run car beating them may well not help too much. :)

The Tifosi could argue with their own shadow. They weren't that impressed with my DC t-shirt at Monza...I was fearing for my life at the end of the day :p wasn't long after the spa 'incident'

Also saw them pelting Jos Vestappen with coins...no kidding....nutters

The Tifosi would embrace Bin Laden if he drove with passion. This is Fernandos calling,he's waited a long time for this and aint going to p1ss it up the wall in a flurry of tears and tantrums.Glad he's kept the Renault colours on the helmet too, just like Senna, the opposition will know who's approaching and be duly intimidated. You go Nando,as the last poster said, you're the class act of the field.

LOL, You are NOT the "Class act of the field" if you get beaten by a rookie, let alone resort to cheating and blackmail in your desperation. You are El Cabron, The Horned One, an inadequate little man whos lies have been exposed.

If he is so great, put your money where your mouth is, like your little hero, nobody is betting on him wining anything. Reality has set in.
