wow . I'm shocked that he(and Ferrari boss) made statements like that. tho all the new teams are totally new teams, but they still have 'pride' in what they are doing.
USF1,with their US tech
Virgin with their fully CFD design
Lotus(second generation) with the mission to bring glory to Lotus name back
Campos, they already in contract with a chassis builder.

yeah, probably they will be at the back of the grid, but being at the front with 'others work' isn't a pleasant thing either.

moose, i wouldnt be shocked! it would have been a far better step, particulary for usf1, to purchase a proven package, then to mess around trying to create a car, that doesnt appear to have much going for it! but the comment is basically incorrect. ONE team did purchase the chassis, that is, stefan gp. they may not have an entry as yet, but it can almost be guaranteed that they will appear sometime this year!

virgin. why even their launch will be just computer images. we need a car!

lotus, they wont be bringing the real lotus anywhere

campos. have a dallara chassis (proven chassis manufacturer) if they pay their bills!

If Mr Stefan has the cash to lurk for a few months be seems to have a canny plan. It will be a fascinating sideline on the main story of the season to watch what happens to the new teams. Perhaps more suitable for a Financial Times reader than a sports fan but a competitive matter.

i suppose that a couple will. usf1 for sure.
not sure about campos. one investor and they're sorted
lotus have a car and might actually make the gp in bahrain. but if they're the only new team then kova and trulli will be battling against each other for last place. a result for either will be making the end of the race not last.
virgin are claiming they have a car and everything's ok but i haven't seen anything yet. until i see a car, like what lotus have, i can't see them on the grid.
usf1 as far as i'm concerned are screwed, because if they don't make bahrain then stefan gp have a car ready to go and for sure they'll be ahead of the new teams (although in a rather unsporting way)

Thing is whatever Mercedes do people like Rob and co will moan like little babies.

Mclaren(bruce) was from New Zealand, what on earth is the factory doing in Surrey UK? Of course Mercedes being Mercedes are subject to scrutiny no other manufacter is subject to.
I dont expect any Mclaren fan to know the truth, the amount of lies they have been fed!!!

Possession: the act of having and controlling property : the state or fact of being an owner.

So to put it to bed. Tyrell honda and Brawn are consigned to the grave, Mercedes-Benz OWN the team.

If anyone has issue take up the meaning with Oxfords definition of the term, they should write a courteous email and change the definition.( i wouldnt hold my breath)

So for the umpteenth time to the Mclaren idiot..Mercedes do indeed deserve to be called as such
Love to see how far your team would get with Reanualt backing! Mercedes BUILT your team!!!!!
They honour them with their colours even in divorce! Do you not SEE!
