Renault has finally confirmed who will be racing alongside Robert Kubica at the newly-owned Enstone-based outfit in F1 2010 - and in Russian GP2 Series front-runner Vitaly Petrov, they have taken a chance on a man who has never previously driven a grand prix car

And then there were 2 (empty seats)...

Still disappointed that Heidfeld (and Davidson) didn't get a seat, but I suppose this is fair enough. He came 2nd only to Nico Hulkenburg in GP2 this year, and Nico is meant to be the next big thing.

We'll see :)

Wow! - thats fantastic news, so finally we have a new F1 driver who is there totally on his skills and abilities and not there for any other reason. This must finally be a turning point in F1,s credibility. Eat your hearts out all you cynics out there! :)

Is it me, or does the colour scheme bear a strong resemblence to some of the Jordan cars from a good few years back? Back in the days with B&H sponsorship, or the Bitten and Hisses logos is what the R30 reminds me of.

Andrew, didn't the Jordans go under the Bitten and Hisses or Buzzin Hornets to get around the ciggie advertising ban. Even the Red Total flashes on the front wings remind me of the Jordan cars.
