F1 » Hamilton: Refuelling ban makes F1 cars 'time bombs'

Oh dear oh dear
The reintroduction of refuelling was one of the worst decisions ever made regarding F1
Thank god it has gone at last, we just need to get rid of the semi auto gearbox's now & give the drivers 3 peddles & a gear leaver again
& Lewis if you don't like it go & drive in another championship!

Shut up George you are talking garbage, both drivers are saying something similar in the article and i would imagine if you asked all the other drivers they would be pretty much saying the same.
Funny how they mention that they wanted to get rid of refuelling to increase the action on track by making them overtake rather than waiting for the optimal time to pit to pass someone and yet they've just announced that bloody stupid tyre rule!

Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers Cubikrube.
BTW your post really made no sense. All the drivers knew about the fuel load changes how come they didn't complain then... hmmmmm is it because Schumacher and RB are the only ones that have any experience at it?

There was no need for the comment George, there's enough crap posted on here to get people started don't you think?
Apologies for being snappy, one of those mornings!

apologies accepted Cubikrube but I still stand by my comment. this is really not the time for anyone to complain about the fuel amount in the cars they should have voiced their grivances long ago not when they get in the car for a test.

This is utter crap. Modern F1 is safer than lawn bowls! Just trying to look tough so he can pull the birds in, now that he is single again.

Carbon fibre with run off to the horizon! Puffs, almost all of them.

Agreed RD. In the modern car, refuelling carries more risk than the risk of carrying extra fuel. From a racing point of view, I'm glad we are getting back to a proper race structure. Refuelling meant it was a series of sprints joined together and called a race. Hopefully this year we will see more emphasis on driver skill coping with the changing conditions.
