F1 » Ralf Schumacher 'perfect' for Stefan GP, says Ecclestone

We already have one, and soon there could be two Schumachers on the grand prix starting grid again in F1 2010 - with the sport's supremo Bernie Ecclestone urging Stefan GP to employ younger sibling Ralf

I am all for Stefan GP to join but Ralf Schumacher???

Spare us the boredom, we dont need reminding how mediocre he was. What is the point of bringing him back? Yawn, yawn, yawn....

Well's Max Mosley and his crew always claimed that a due and diligence was carried out on all entrants and the selected teams would definately make it to the grid come first race.

There are doubts on the reasons behind their selection because the are doubts towards their participation. its also been confirmed that the romours that the engine supplier was the only condition looked at to gain entry can not be varified.

Like f*** he is! Stefan GP are serious about going racing it seems. Ralf is a bit rubbish. He's perfect for USF1. Stefan will no doubt sign Cackajima, somewhere I've seen a rumour that Sato is in line for the other seat. That makes sense at least. Bernie, STFU!

I'm not a RS fan but for a new team like Stefan GP he could potentially bring some valuable experience.

Maybe get him in for one year and then replace him with someone more dynamic.

Lets hope he stays at the DTM series though :p

How can Stefan GP get the entry against people like Prodrive and Lola? With the lowest powered engine in F1, last year's Toyota with a big fuel tank and skinny front tyres they just make f1 look a fool. At least bernie won't have to pay them a share of the TV money.

I am all for the old saying: "Either pee or get off the pot", and so I would like to see Stefan GP get a chance to race just from their sheer persistence. They don't seem to give up and look like they have their act together for racing. Who knows, maybe the 2010 Toyota design is better than anything they produced before? Stefan GP also have the backing of a Serbian firm AMCO, who have a great deal of engineering experience (not F1, but smart people all the same). I say give them a chance rather than see a potential shambles from Campos.

Seem Stefan GP are already playing dirty
F1SA are reporting that Because Campos fell behind in payments to its car constructor Dallara, the Italian company have sold the rights of the Campos car to Sefan, even though they already have a car from Toyota, Although probably just taking out insurance incase it gets A RECALL !! :)
