F1 » BBC confirms F1 2010 commentary line-up

The BBC has confirmed an unchanged commentary line-up for 2010, meaning Martin Brundle, David Coulthard and Jake Humphrey remain on-board - as do the less universally popular Jonathan Legard and Eddie Jordan...

Thats great news! As for Eddie Jorden, He annoyed the hell out of me to begin with but towards the end of the season I had warmed to him. There were a few moments that had me in stitches! One when Eddie was sweating cobbs and Jake asked him if he was ok and would he like to sit down! Haha classic!

Compared to ITV they are way ahead in coverage.

Agree about Jonathan "push-on" Legard...he is the weak link.

Still over all the coverage was really good and can't grumble.

Brundle and DC are excellent and the DC vs EJ punch and Judy show was hilarious, like elmo I warmed to EJ more as the year went on.

No more kers battery on the captions !

No idea why Legard is still on... he was kind of like James Allen apart from he **** licked Button instead oh Hamilton... well with both in 1 team he may aswell just **** lick Mclaren and save us the noise of him doing both...

Nice to see Eddie Jordan still in :) Although he is outspoken... yet still funny to watch him appologise and grovel afterwards :P He knows alot of people and has helped to keep the show running! Brazil quali was a good example... don't think i've ever seen someone drag so many people to the cameras! :O :D

Am I the only person who thinks that we need a new Murray Walker on the job, and that man exists in the form of BEN EDWARDS? Ben (and for that matter his straight man Jeremy Shaw) made CART essential viewing a decade ago.

@Piercarlo

Yeah that was kind of fun...

I think they should have replaced Leggard. He really doesn't manage to add something to the races with his repetitive comments. Personally I don't see why they don't let Jake and DC do the commenting of the race as well as the pre-show.
Here in the Netherlands I've been watching RTL before and Olav Mol does both the build-up as well as the commenting, with usually just one pitreporter to help him out. It works rather well, eventhough some of his comments during a rce are incorrect, at least he manages to liven things up a little when it's needed...
I think with some assistence from DC and maybe Brundle, Jake would be an improvement over Leggard.

Well Done the BBC.

NOW ALL WE WANT IS F1 IN GLORIOUS HIGH DEFINITION !!!

Sorry for the shouting guys but in my opinion the so called pinnacle in motor racing should be shown in the so called pinnacle of television picture quality.
