F1 » New circuit for British Grand Prix


Silverstone has confirmed that this year's British Grand Prix will run on the new Arena layout currently under construction.

I am all for this if it brings more drama and excitement to F1 at Silverstone. However if it is just another Micky Mouse section with no overtaking then it would be a disappointment.

All this talk about how important it is to keep the races at these historic venues, and then they decide to run on a different layout? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Andrew, you do a great job of impersonating a sulky teenager who doesn't get his own way, whether its Silverstone, or Hamilton, or Mclaren or Alonso. But the joke wears thin.

Ah I forgot it is a crime to state your dislike about certain things on here.

So it is ok for someone to say they like Silverstone but not ok for someone to say that they would have preferred Donnington? I detect a major double standard.
