F1 » Chandhok says no Stefan GP deal...yet – as Villeneuve enters frame

as much as I want to believe this story as a Villeneuve fan myself, what is the source on Villenuve being linked to StefanF1 other than the fact Mr Ecclestone encouraged the return of Michael Schumacher?

Villeneuve has talked about his motivation for returning to F1 for a while now but if he is so keen to return, and if it is such a good idea to put him in the car why does he not put up some of the $50 million or more he earned at BAR to get the drive?

$5 million should probably do it?
