I consider this is one time that Windsor and Anderson should embrace us with a forthright explanation.

Either the team remains in existance and will be participating or are folding.

Internet Rumours are not sufficient. The Principals need to talk and produce evidence. If this is not forthcoming speculation will continue to mount with or without foundation.

The Dead Collector: Bring out yer dead.
F1: Here's one.
The Dead Collector: That'll be ninepence.
USF1: I'm not dead.
The Dead Collector: What?
F1: Nothing. There's your ninepence.
USF1: I'm not dead.
The Dead Collector: 'Ere, he says he's not dead.
F1: Yes he is.
USF1: I'm not.
The Dead Collector: He isn't.
F1: Well, he will be soon, he's very ill.
USF1: I'm getting better.
F1: No you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment.
The Dead Collector: Well, I can't take him like that. It's against regulations.
USF1: I don't want to go on the cart.
F1: Oh, don't be such a baby.
The Dead Collector: I can't take him.
USF1: I feel fine.

F1: Oh, do me a favor.
The Dead Collector: I can't.
F1: Well, can you hang around for a couple of minutes? He won't be long.
The Dead Collector: I promised I'd be at the Robinsons. They've lost nine today.
F1: Well, when's your next round?
The Dead Collector: Thursday.
USF1: I think I'll go crash test another nosecone
F1: You're not fooling anyone, you know. Isn't there anything you could do?
USF1: I feel happy. I feel happy.
(the Dead Collector glances up and down the street furtively, then silences USF1 with his a whack of their nosecone)
F1: Ah, thank you very much.
The Dead Collector: Not at all. See you on Thursday.
F1: Right. You can take Campos Meta by then.

people its all over. USF1 has no chance. it hasn't even built a full car yet. also not one test lap. even if they did make it would be a waste because the car will have all sorts of problems that should have been fixed through testing. if they had any common sense they would have brought the car toyota developed. then they would be on the grid.
