I don't think Bernie would be trying to save face, more a case of FOM has guaranteed the TV companies a minimum number of cars on the starting grid.

I assume Kolles is bringing some money/backers, or Campos has fallen out with Calderon? Based on their past records in racing, and how they come across as people, Campos is the far more capable team principal of the two. In any case, I'm glad the team looks to be saved, and hope to see the Senna name not too far adrift once the season starts, and gradually moving up as it progresses.
