F1 » Lopez's Campos switch to herald USF1 merger?

Jose Maria Lopez could switch to Campos Meta for 2010, but could the move also bring USF1 into the fold?

So if they merge will they be based in Spain or the US? Can't see USF1s employees all relocating to Spain.
I can understand Lopez and Chad Hurley switching to 'Campos', would there be any benefit in an actual merger? There's not a lot of USF1 to merge with.
Read that insider article on Autosport - seems maybe Windsor isn't the bad guy in all this after all. Anderson seemd to be at fault, according to the team insider. Anderson says 'that's only one side of the story' but then fails to explain things from his side. No wonder they are in trouble, it's a real shame, especially for their 60 employees.

cardinal. only entered this story after posting on the "list" story. so sorry if they overlap! dont forget, usf1 were supposedly setting up their european base in spain, so maybe the story is not so far fetched.

Thanks Richard, I had forgotten. Makes a lot more sense now. USF1 + Campos, Senna + Lopez, YouTube backing + Bernie involvement (allegedly).....they might just end up as one team and make it to the grid in Bahrain. I do hope so. They'll be backmarkers but at least they will be there.

USF1 has the entry ticket !
Campos is not an "approved" team
That what USF1 bring to the merger.

And the toasters will not work in Europe without a converter
