Don't worry Brundle, all the drivers you mentioned and all the others you did not mention will NOT underestimate Schumacher in F1 2010, but we do have a lot of cry babies on Crash.net though who thinks MS just lucked out or cheated to get where he's at. :)

I don't think anybody at all is understimating Schumacher. They are not understimating his obvious speed and ability, nor the fact that he may well win some races if the car is good. They also are not underestimating the fact that he will probably still play dirty if he has to, i.e. he's not winning. He's not the only driver who does it, but as a multiple WDC he shouldn't need to. Bet he still does though, it's in his nature.

cobalt....

How do you figure schumacher doesn't even propose a threat to Rosberg?

He only went quicker in the last test due to having the only fully dry day. Rosberg won't touch Schumacher for pace this year.

Has the quality of oppositon gone up? Or is it the fact that once schumacher left 3 years ago there was no outstanding driver to compare to? I know for sure if Schuey had of raced in 07/08 he would of walked them championships! Making the others look average.

Its like if federer left tennis. People would still claim Murray an co have improved due to them winning major titles but in reality its just the media bulling it up to make it sound more competetive than ever.

I think Hamilton does have something to offer(never really liked him but you can't ignore the fact hes bloody fast)
Button?? Hope he does well but don't even compare, lol.

Vettel..makes far to many mistakes

Any F1 driver that underestimates Schumacher isn't a top level driver. I don't think the top boys need worry to much about him in the 2010 season, but if he returns in 2011 (which he probably will) by which time his form will back at the very top level then they should all be very worried, because love him or hate him, and don't let the preferential treatment he received from Ferrari fool you he is still the best there's been as far as wins, points and championships are concerned. Yet strangely this doesn't seem to make him the best driver in the majority of fans eyes, why is that I wonder?

Gary, I am just saying that so far Schumacher does not look that much better than Rosberg.

Everyone is expecting Schu to do his best, we will see.
