Could it be that Bridgestone is out-Bernie-ing Bernie? The little old man has no problems threatening or pulling events that can't meet his financial demands. Bridgestone would probably stay in F1 if they could actually break even or even make a profit at it. So it might just be their way of getting a more favorable financial model.
