That's ok. If you don't want him, we'll more than gladly take him. I hate it when the announcers call NASCAR "the greatest drivers in the world". But with a few more of his caliber, they might be right. So to the Piquet haters I say :p

Seems to me people being inconsistant in their condemnation of drivers in F1.Piquet is critisised for his actions when he crashed and I do not agree with his actions but there is a far worse cheat in F1 a man who crashed in to two other drivers on purpose to gain advantage for himself.Staged a spin in qualifying to disadvantage a rival but is welcomed in F1.I do not have to name this person every one knows who it is.At least Piquet only put himself in danger.

Taz said " So cheats are welcome in F1 ?"
If Shumy is welcome, why not Piquet Jr? Why this double standard?. Piquet Jr was a great driver in F3 and GP2. Briatore destroyed his carreer both as Renault´s boss and manager of him. It´s rumored Briatore stole lot of money to Piquet Jr as manager.
Piquet Jr is very young, he learnt a lot from what happened to him in the Crashgate issue. You must be sure he won´t do anything like that again. He paid his mistake on the highty cost. He deserves a second chance. Maybe not this year or even the next year. But he must to return to F1 in a near future.

Piquet Jr was so SLOW, he cheated hoping to keep his seat. Than he used daddy's money to try to bounce back.

F1 needs strong pilots, not whiners!

According to his latest interviews he is very happy in USA and he wants to stay there. He has a team in which he is respected and which look for him. He is having good results. He is impressing the fans and medias. He is accepted for other drivers. And he finally has a sponsor that allowed him to compite in the hole season. He is compiting in Truck Series and he has received the offert to compite in Nationwide Series at the same time. And he is gaining lot of money. So why he would wants to return to F1?.

#Izno, you are wrong. Piquet Senior wanted to bring his son out from Renault after he knows about the Singapur incident (he found a seat for him in Toro Rosso) but Briatore didn´t allow Piquet Jr to be free. Briatore was his manager too and he threatened Piquet Jr to not let him go to any other team NEVER.

And it´s totally false Piquet Jr was using his money´s father to return to F1. He said in each and every interview HE DOESN´T WANT TO PAY FOR A SEAT.
