F1 » F1 heavyweights back Branson in Ferrari spat

Max Mosley, Michael Schumacher and Tony Fernandes have waded into the war of words between Virgin Racing chief Richard Branson and Ferrari - backing the efforts of the F1 2010 newcomers, as the former FIA President described the Scuderia as 'a middle-aged woman who is jealous of the attention new beautiful women around her are getting...'

Of course Max is going to agree with one of his baby teams. And the FIA's golden boy (Schumacher)will agree with Max.Ferdandes is going to stick up for his team and that is to be expected.

max wants to keep himself in he picture.and to use the incident of the fuel hose is ridiculous. it is not as if ferrari were the only team ever to pull a hose down the pits! also remember, branson is not a team owner or even a shareholder. he haS lent MANOR money so as to get a rebranding. and as for middle age women being envious of younger women, the less said of that the better!

He already called out Ferrari for special rules veto. Are Ferrari crazy to want this mad man to expose all of the things Red enjoyed for years? Max go write the book you spoke of and let us know the whole truth on what you have been doing for some.

Given that most of these new teams were brought in to replace the likes of Ferrari had the breakaway gone ahead a better analogy would that of a jilted wife and the new mistress. No one expects them to get along. Why should Ferrari put out the welcome mat for teams that tried to capitalize on the FOTA/FIA war and enter F1 on the cheap?

Max of all people should think twice before bringing up embarassing incidents from the past. Almost every team has had a refueling incident.

The problem with Ferrari is it doesnt have the divine right to be right all the time.
Luca says things somtimes that are beyond belief.
The sooner Ferrari realise they are an F1 team like every other team in the Paddock, and not some divine automotive authority, the better for everyone including ferrari.

Ferrari are correct in their statements but having said that, Virgin and the fake "Lotus" have done well to get a car on the grid though time will tell just how deserving of a grid slot these new teams are.

rob - what is this nutty wheel system? Where can I find the details?
