F1 » USF1 had actually signed TWO drivers, reports suggest

In what could be another nail in the coffin of financially-beleaguered, under-fire American outfit USF1, it now appears the team had signed two paying drivers for F1 2010 rather than just one...

Well thats that then. Even having signed two drivers they still could not put a car or race team rogether. The FIA has refused to allow Prodrive to defer entry for a year in the recent past, so it must follow that this sorry team led by incomepentent fools should be shown the door. Now.

This is truly getting ridiculus now, TWO pay drivers and still can't make the grid?! Seriously, just take away their slot and be done with it, we might as well have a full grid given the number of potentially sustainable teams which were turned down. Yes, I know it's not that simple

On a side note, he is rather cute

This USF1 saga is getting ridiculous now, 16 mill and no car.
This is starting to make Andrea Moda in the early 90s look good. At least they could get around 1 and a half cars to an F1 meeting most the time.

At least Rossiter has got a half decent seat this year in indycars,

Much as windys soap opera is amusing and fills columns it's doing the sport no favours.

Axe USF1 and don't let Stefan in and make them both apply next year along with some more qualified applicants they inexplicably passed over for this ramshackle team

Rossiter is part funded by family, part funded by his Godfather, Adrian Reynard, and mainly supported by Honda.

Likely that Adrien heard the jungle drums in plenty of time before parting with any cash to USF1.

Expect NO branding on that PKV IndyCar....Honda will have paid to grab that seat for Rossiter (former Super Aguri test driver as well, thanks to Adrian's close relationship with Honda) who is also big mates with former Honda Racing Developments no.2 Atmar Saffner

Actually in the Indycar Pre-season testing last week at Barber, Rossiter was driving a KVRT car with Mariscos liquer sponsorship over it, with a colour scheme closely linked to an oldschool Lotus indycar livery. Team Lotus USA recently announced their desire to compete at the Indy 500 this year, (possible link) so it appears Rossiters' current indycar sponsorship is coming from various sources.
FYI KVRT has not confirmed Rossiter for this season yet, but it is looking increasingly likely.

Well it time guys to face the facts, Windsor and Anderson was not very truthfull to everyone. I hope Rossier and Lopez can carry on. I truely think thir is more to this tale. looking back this seams like one big dream gone bad. Now its time for US F1 to manup and admitt defeat. Time to start anew and start over, grant Setfan a grid position. Get cracking building a US team for next season if you have the talent. A change is needed, the current cast of non performers, Windsor, Anderson and Hobbs should be replaced with true F1 professionals who know how to build a team...
Please drop the name USF1, its not. What we have now is just a poor TV soat opera, enough!!!
