F1 » 'USF1 is dead...and it won't come back'

The end of the road has officially been reached for USF1, it appears - with a senior employee confirming that all staff have been put on indefinite leave, and concluding that the financially-beleaguered American hope 'is dead...and it won't come back'

Wow. The pages of comments perfectly frame exactly why I do not watch four wheel racing. Such drama! Such useless additional partisanship by its "fans." I thought two wheel racing had the market cornered on politics. How wrong I was.

Not that it matters, but I am American. The anti-American sentiment here is unfortunate too. I quit reading when I came to "I love to see any American team fail, lol." Rejoicing in the misfortune of others is bad form, imo. Shame.

Good luck to F1, though. From what I read, the series needs all the fans it can get. I hate for any motorsports series to struggle, whether I follow it or not.
