F1 » HRT has perfect line-up with Senna and Chandhok, contends Jackson

'HRT couldn't have a more honest, hard-working pair' of drivers than Bruno Senna and Karun Chandhok - that is the argument of the rookie duo's former GP2 Series team boss Paul Jackson, who wishes them well for their F1 2010 bow

I really do wish them luck, but with no testing and 2 rookies (however brilliant they might be) I am of the opinion that it's not looking so great.
Oh well, we''ll see...

Also, does anyone know if Karun Chandhok is said as it's spelt? thanks :)

Two rookies in a team without any testing can never be 'perfect', but it's still a good combination. Chandhok is well-funded and can bring in new involvement from India, especially if they get a Grand Prix for 2011 as is hoped. Senna has serious talent, not to mention name recognition. They both know the European circuits, even if neither has much experience of F1 cars. What's more, they know each other and are seemingly friends off track.

its madness i can understand them signing Senna, but as a new team it would have paid dividends to have had one of the many available F1 drivers with previous experience, someone like Christian Klien, maybe, would have been perfect.
I guess Chandhok had some serious funding behind him to have even been considered.

If Paul Jackson-i-sport, thinks Chandhok/Senna are good enough drivers for F1 his GP2 team i-sport must be bad, as their results were dire with no championship to their names
