It appears the French are the ruling bodies when it comes to sport, we had John-Marie Balestre the former French boss of FIA when he ruled F1 until 1991 with an Iron Rod. Senna was often on the end of his Biased decisions, for E.G. 1990 Japan, A decision was taken on the saturday before Qualifying that the pole position slot would be moved to the cleaner side of the track, but after qualifying when Senna got pole and prost was sceond, Balestre renaged on that decision, Prost beat Senna of the line on the cleaner side of the track, the result was the infamous coming together of Senna and Prost being eliminated in the first corner, 1984 Monaco GP got cancelled, Senna catching Prost in the wet.

Drivers need the opinion and knowledge of someone who has actually raced at the top, but i wonder how much influence on deisions he will be allowed to have, i voice against three or four others, possibly with there own instructions as to wchich direction the championship should go.
