After all the anticipation of the new season I am sorry to say the following:

What a completely boring and tedious race that was. I know the circuit is not up to much but if this is what we can expect all season, then god help us. The cars sound dreadful, droning around the vacuous flat and dull circuit (literally) miles apart from each other. The only overtaking of any interest was an ailing Vettel unable to hold off the cars behind. Hardly the pinnacle of motorsport being demonstrated today.

I know I am moaning but I really hope I am wrong and things improve for the next round but god that was DULL!

P.S. Congrats to Alonso!

Camera-work leaves a lot to be desired too. Did anyone find out how Rosberg passed Hamilton in the early stages? I'm pretty sure they missed that completely. And is there some sort of rule which says the cameras have to follow the leader around on the last lap, and then switch to pictures of his pit crew, completely ignoring Rosberg and Vettel which was the only possibility of anything happening at that stage?
