This seems to prove Jenson won the title because he had a car that was vastly superior to everyone else on those tracks. As soon as he had to adapt to a track that didn't lend itself to his driving style and car he struggled.
Lewis is able to wring the neck of an underperforming car and still get results it appears.
Do hope I'm wrong about Button and he goes on to fight for wins but not on today's showing.
I think everyone was being exta cautious today as they weren't sure how the cars would react to the temperature and weight. If not we are in for a very boring 19 races.

Yeah, u keep taking it easy Jenson. The same thing that happened to Heikki is going to happen to u. Remember those Honda days? When u were being lapped by the front runners?

:p

I thought Jensons interview on the BBC Forum was dead honest..?
He was complimentary about Hamilton and also mentioned, as did Lewis, the car was struggling for grip in the tight 2nd sector. He was unlucky to get caught in traffic.

a racer should race from the "off", not when he feels like it. seb raced from the off, and would have won the race, clearly, but for the exhaust problem. this was mentioned as intermittent, and seb speeded up at the end, so it was unlikely to be a crack. more likely something like a co2 sensor??

Where are all the band wagon riders who jumped onboard
last year. He will be lucky if he gets one podium. Its going to be the worst title defence ever. sorry but its ture.

I wonder how many excuses does this guy needs. even if BOTH Mclarens were struggling how come LEWIS was ABLE to squeeze out extra pace to claim 3rd position. this guy has a loser attitude.

There's a lot of idiots around here. One race, and everybody thinks they know the score. You could take from this that Lewis is just better than Jenson, or you could take that they have different styles and in a situation where neither knew how the tyres would behave, but it turned out they were better than expected, then Lewis' style was favoured. Or, better still, you could wait a while and see how it plays out, and not act like reactionary *****s desperate to prove their own hateful biases... but many of you do that so well, it would be a shame to waste your gifts.
