I don't think he's talking about the pace of things Powerline, more the fact that the poor guy didn't turn a wheen until qualifying had actually started. if his team had given him a completed car so he could have had a couple of practice laps, perhaps it would have been different.

What did you think it would be Chandhok??
an untested car which hasnt turned a wheel till qualifying ..thats the worst possible scenario..Nightmares would be actually better..
An secondly,Chandhok is in f1 because of his dads big pocket of rupees..He has never set alight the world on fire and i doubt he ever will..
he will job around in f1 lower card till his dads pocket is empty

Gee wizz Andy, what dream planet are you living on? No-one ever got a start in F1 based purely on their talent. They've all had either a wealthy benefactor/sponsor or known someone in the right place. The simple fact is that no matter how much money his old man can come up with, if Chandhok didn't have some talent he wouldn't be there at all.

The car was not ready until qualy?! The fact that he got it around the track as often as he did without spinning into oblivion is amazing. He must be a pretty good driver to say the least. Imagine yourself in that position, the whole world and your mother watching. Scary hard

@paddles-i do know that talent comes secondary to money for getting into f1..
But for chandhok??-His performances have been dreadful,he finished 18th or something in the GP2 series last year..
dont tell me that the guy is really worthy of an f1 drive when there are plenty of others who can do a better job.
Colin Kolles needed big amounts of cash and this guy was the only person who could bring it to the table.
