F1 » Schumacher: I can still fight for the F1 2010 championship

Professing himself more confident in his chances in Australia than he was on his return to active competition in Bahrain a fortnight earlier, Mercedes Grand Prix star Michael Schumacher insists he is still capable of doing battle for the F1 2010 drivers' crown

He has shown that he can still drive, it all depends on what Brawn has up his sleeve with the Merc's development. The best car will be at the front of the freight train that we call F1 (BORE FEST)(SNOOZE FEST)
and no one will get past. Lets just call it a season where the best engineers win.

Yes he can still drive that's pretty clear. However he is nowhere near as good as he once was. Even if he was his old self and wasn't just racing for fun he can't challenge for the championship the merc car just isnt fast enough at the moment. If red bull fix their problems then its going to be between Alonso, Massa and Vettel

Jase, FreightTrain 1 is a great name for F1 2010.

I heard someone likening them to lumbering battleships. "Frigate" he said, whilst watching Bahrain. At least, I think that's what he said.
