Fernando Alonso remains bullish and confident about his chances in F1 2010 despite failing to finish the Malaysian Grand Prix after his Ferrari engine let go.

I did a little research and found that Alonso's avg. finish is a 4.3 in China. So I would imagine if his car is in good shape and dependable we can expect to see him on the podium. Get ready for the Ferrari flags to wave!

I thought Alonso has driven quite well in all the races. I mean, he had the transmission woes in Malaysia but remained competetive, and in Oz I thought he defensively drove well against LH in the closing stages and hang on while on old tires.

Back again folks--hate China, the raceI meen since it always seems to downpour there. Perhaps this earlier schedule will availeate that ususl problem. And I realize that Hamilton fans will be praying for rain. Sort of pitiful isn't it? Sad sad thread really and I am gone.. Hopeing, and hopeing for a wet track.Again pitiful--adios and good nite all....

There have been numerous articles blaming the Ferrari and McLaren teams for messing up Q1 but not one of them apportion any blame to the drivers. Webber went out AFTER them (Webber and Button were the last two to go out) and still made it through even though he had to go off line to avoid Pedro who had spun in the final sector. Sure the teams could have done it better but in the end it was the drivers that couldn't get the job done.

As for Ferrari having a better car in a couple of races......that we will have to wait and see.
