Thats going to be a shame, if Bernie does get rid of some of the "Traditional European Races". The new tracks have already been shown, as tracks that overtaking cant be done, and are boring. More and more people will be turning over the TV, if tehse new tracks are as boring as some of the ones, already being used!. As a keen follower of F1 over the years, I would like to see more of the older tracks, and less of the newer tracks!.

@ Clone

Almost certain they'll both be street circuits ... Bernie wont be happy until F1 becomes the Street Circuit World Championship.

pretty pathetic by Bernie to suggest another street race in New York..
As for Russia,it could be good but not if Mr Herman is in charge again..
Bernie is all about the cash.A race in New York would probably raise 3 times the revenue of a spa or a race in Hungary.its pretty pathetic but thats what is going to happen..
why does this troll need more money?? he is a disgrace to the traditions of motorsprot

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but didn't he manage to p#ss off the Americans on his last visit?? Why does he think they'll show any more interest if he orders a newer circuit than their beloved brickyard??

Bernie is always planning, always looking for new way's to further the sport and to make things available to a wider audience. The reason? he want's everyone to watch F1 that's why!
I can't see why people are complaining, it's his business and he is making sure his business gets maximum exposure, that fact that he holds places like Spa, Silverstone, Hockenheimn and others to ransom over the money has nothing to do with it, Bernie is great, i only wish the guy was a toilet cleaner. If ever i came face to face with him i would spit in his face!
He is just a very small very greedy selfish little tyrant, the sooner he dies the better!

Couldn't Bernie just save the time of getting Tilke in to build a new circuit in America and just go to somewhere like Watkins Glen or Road America.

As for Russia with Petrov in F1 their interest has gone up from the previous 5 households that watched F1 so don't be surprised to see Russia on the calander in two or three yrs time.
