i dont think that the ruling will be the end of the issue. it will always be present and as long as the full facts are not disclosed, there will be argument and counter argument. but it is interesting that fia are no longer claiming that flavio was the mastermind.

This "ruling" should be deemed a white wash of this act of which Briatori was the originator. The FIA has sunk into the same 'dark and stinking pit' as Briatori by restricting the ban to 2012 instead of lifetime. How can the FIA justify a man who risked the life of not only his own driver but also the other drivers for the sake of winning this race? This act and FIA's turnaround cannot be forgiven. It is a dark day for F1 racing and will continue as long as Briatori remains in any aspect of Formula One racing.

Nanbawan - make him start from scratch: USF1. Step 1, visit Ebay and get some transporters. Step 2, sign a good driver - where's that Piquet chappie gone? Step 3, build a new nosecone ...

The only reason this makes me happy and I mean ONLY reason is it is a slap in the face to the evilist or evil Max Mosely. Max turned what should have been a proper procedural trial into a vendetta and lost in the end because of it. I blame Max for nearly all things wrong with F1 today.
