its not surprising. the mess that the fia made of this years new entries, has scared them all away. interesting to see, that dispite all their hyperbole, there is no sign of stefan who "have a car ready" (THEIR words)

Not surprising in the least after the three ring circus the selection process for 2010 turned out to be. Once bitten, twice shy, and all that. Frankly, F1 is becoming less and less appealing to anyone these days.

The fact that the two leading (in terms of likely ability to field a competitive car) teams have opted out says a lot for what it takes to mount a competitive entry in modern F1. Obviously, they looked at what happened this year and came to their conclusions.

What is clear to me is that the FIA are clueless.

Stefan can't have a car 'ready' as the Toyota design - even if they were able to use it - would have incorporated the double diffuser which will be banned from next year.

great..does this mean we dont have to listen to that windbag Richards blabbing about how hard done by he is. Ok with me... Richards always has some excuse why he wont pull the trigger.. how many chances does he need to get prodrive into F1. Mark my words he will whine in a couple of weeks how unfair he has been treated. Go AWAY Prodrive..stick to lower level racing where you belong..
