Congratulations to Petrov on his first points in F1. Hopefully these will be the first of many as he continues to silence his numerous doubters who wrote him off as a "pay driver".

This guy is definately going to be a force to be reckoned with. If he was just not so rough on his machine. He is exciting to watch though, looking back on last wkends race listening to the commentators bark "and here comes Petrov" definately got the juices flowing. Congrats to Petrov! (kind of looks a little crazy too and that aint a bad thing) :blush:

I can't say i've seen much "calmness" (as renault pr call it) in his driving style, but he's exciting to watch, he's certainly unpredictable and doesn't like being passed one bit and that's awesome i reckon. It's good stuff when a rookie isn't scared of the established superstars, i just wish it would happen more in motogp.

he reminds me of what massa was in sauber, aggressive and erratic.

Massa has become much calmer since then, I hope the fire remains in this kid for long though.
