F1 » Briatore snubs Mosley olive branch, insists he's in the past

Having been contacted by his former arch-nemesis and ex-FIA President Max Mosley on the birth of his first child, Flavio Briatore insists he has 'no place' for the man who tried to get him permanently banned from F1 over the explosive 'Singapore-gate' race-fixing scandal

Flav sent everyone on his phone (ie much of the paddock) a message when his baby was born. Presumably Max replied to this.

Not exactly an olive branch but then, who cares?

Max acts stubborn, Flav does not approve
Max remains stubborn, Flav threatens breakaway
Max ties up with Bernie and Pat to play finger-cricket with Flav so no breakaway, Flav's game over
Max says bye to F1, Flav forced to say bye from F1
And now,
Max sends sms (See My ****) to Flav, Flav says that is old and in the past!
And the future?

I simply do not believe Mr. Briatore's claim innocence. It appears incontrovertably true that two men, three if you count the driver, conspired to rig the '08 Singapore GP in favour of the team's lead driver and one of those men was Flavio Briatore. They not only brought F1 into disrepute, they endangered lives that we trust F1 teams to hold dear. Pat Symonds, seemingly a reasonable man if there ever was one, spoke of his "eternal regret" and I believe his sincerity in that. I recognise that being humble toward Max Mosley must hurt Flavio like raging fire, I still feel sickened by his continuing bluster and protest, when he may actually be lucky not be be facing jail. It's not Max's fault!

@ ian o,
He still may be in trouble yet, he has to get past the piquets. Lets face it, if Flav was innocent he would of sued "EVERYONE" for millions.

He's just lying as usual out of the other side of his face. He's probably convinced himself by now.
