Wow, half a second faster than 2nd place.

More tellingly, Schumi's first official session finishing ahead of Nico. Getting to grips with the new updates maybe?

(Edit: I stand corrected. This is not the first time, but rather, the fourth time Michael has been ahead of Rosberg. Thanks for pointing that out Bert.)

And the Ferrari's are not there yet, but you can expect them to be improving as the weekend progresses.

What a relief to have the race weekend finally starting!

According to the BBC Schumi has out perfored Nico in practise 4 times so this isn't a first.

Good to see McLaren on top and horse face no where near!

I know he has been faster in practices before but I sure hope this is a sign of things to come for Schumi. I also thing Ferrari may have to wind back their engines during practices in order to keep their health during the race. I am not a Lewis fan but must say the last few races have made him stand out from the crowd, I hope the others see this and turn their games up a notch or two. Would be great to see more drivers with gusto and determination during the races.

In another post senna would like to split the qualifying maybe a f1 cossworth as they are all in the back. Maybe mosley found a cheap bud slow engine.
