so, midway through the season, button was already looking around! brawn denied that they were negotiating at that time, although haug let slip that they were talking to schumi then. it is difficult to believe anything that is put out by brawn/merc, about buttons position in the team. no wonder he got out!

Brawn was poor mouthing Button. Then turns around and makes MS 2nd highest paid driver on the grid. Add Haug into the mix and confusion really sets in. And he didn't just get out. He ran as fast as he could.

How is this even news? Drivers and their management make approaches to various teams all the time. This is to either sound out whether the team is a good fit for the driver or to use the team as a negotiating tool for better the pay package they have from their existing team. As this happened around a year ago I'm surprised this is even news worthy. Slow day at Crash.net perhaps?
