Damon's revenge, and another case of what ferrari want ferrari get.
if the race was still under safety car conditions the lights and flags should have stayed yellow.even the lowliest kart racer knows that green flags or lights mean go.

I can see this being appealed. If the race finishes with the safety car, which will come into the pits, then no overtaking, fine. But why get the timing screen shots stating the car was coming in and the track would be clear if the race was still under safety car regs? Surely nothing like that would appear if safety car regs are still in force?

I think the punishment is overly harsh. Firstly, all race the commentators were going on about how the drivers couldn't over take behind the safety car UNTIL the reached the white line near the pit entrance. As the replays shows, the pass took place into the final corner, after the cars had crossed the white line. Wheres the problem in that? Perhaps it wasn't in the spirit of the race, as they only really let the cars go so Webber could take the flag in full race mode but it was some fantastic opportunismn by Michael. If he was going to be punished, then they should just have dropped him back down to 7th where he was before as he drove superbly all day and doesn't deserve to be classed 12th
