F1 » Chandhok: I still have my head, thank God!

Hispania Racing F1 2010 rookie Karun Chandhok has acknowledged that he had a close call indeed when he found himself assaulted by the Lotus of Jarno Trulli in Monaco last weekend - but at least, he quips, he still has his head...

Truli lost his head....again and almost took off Chandhok's.

Kovalainen has been far more impressive this season and doesn't moan and whine when things aren't going well.

Imagine the carnage if Trulli had taken out Webber who was right behind at the time...

Agree about Heikki, he's had the rough end of the pineapple the last year or so but seems to be getting on with rebuilding his career and Lotus.

surely if the roll structure is supposed to take the weight of the car when rolling over why did the hrts crumble and it had the weight of and f1 car on it therefore if the hrt rolled would it not just crumble. even the saubers roll structure looked pretty much intact after robert kubicas roll in canada

For a rookie he is very level headed and calm.

I would have thought Trulli's attempt to cross breed a Lotus with and HRT would have been pretty scary but Chandhok seemed to almost shrug it off as "one of those things".
