I don't see how Merc can catch any of the top three. Brawn needs to start work on next years car. And make promises for next year. Unless those super upgrades work. This will be week 7 for super upgrades.

Ok Ok , Bloodyhell how many more people are going to come out of the woodwork and tell us that Shumacher is going to blast everyone into the weeds ...........Eventually.

"Something" will happen, he will get injured(in the off season) somewhere doing something and that will be that. He is not going to be around next yr. They are already looking for someone to replace him for next season. Merc. will let him fall gracefully and rightfully so.

Problem is, he's 41 and competing against at least 3 young drivers who are arguably better than anyone he faced in his prime so he won't get results in a car that looks like its been cobbled together with blutak- But having said that he's on the up, the cheeky move on Alonso was vintage...I reckon he's helping to develop next year's car into a contender just like he did at Ferrari.
