F1 » Pirelli edging Michelin in battle for F1 2011 tyre supply

@blzbub, When that happens I am done with F1. Just like I ditched Nascar. I watched Indy qualifying this past weekend and enjoyed it but it was not the same. When it was run what ya brung, It was SOOOOOOOOOO much better. Its not the same and wont be if F1 follows there lead. I could go on and on about it,(indy) and how much fun it was to watch the different manufacturers doing battle on the track. Fun stuff! I miss it! :) :)

they keep going on about cutting costs yet they cant open up the tyres to everyone and let them offer their own deals so they can properly shop around. lets face it the tyre wars did make things more interseting

I miss tyre wars. Why not bring pirelli and michellin? Why not open to all tyre manufacturers? That way when Manischewitz buys all the new teams to bail them out so he can have Red Bull, Toro Roso, Czerwony Byk and Toro Rojo, they can all ride on different tyres and different engines! :p
