Why can't they just design a car that's at the front(or near) from the 1st race like in the good "olden" days of 2007-08???

I mean what's the point catching the Red Bulls by mid season, they have collected enough points by then to stay on top coz McLaren only planning on matching them not being faster...

Neale might be happy with that but I'm as a McLaren supporter not! C'mon McGuys pull your acts together!

They all design the cars hoping they will be near the front. The first race was a reality check for them, just like this weekend will be, the race is Red Bulls to lose.

Another post where McLaren build up a story so they get the Vodafone machine in the headlines for the sponsors.
They are way off the pace of the RedBulls, Mark doesn't have a worry in the world other than Fernando and Vettel...where's Lu Lu? Probably trying to get in front of Jenson. Hamilton needs to beat that man before he or the team even think about chasing down a RedBull car. And the McLaren dribble goes on and on and on...

Williams were struggling in the late 80's, along came Newey and they started winning. Then Newey left and they began losing. Mclaren were struggling in the mid 90's, along came Newey and they started winning. Then Newey left and they started losing. Red Bull were struggling in the Mid noughties, along came Newey and they started winning.

Perhaps Mclaren think they might turn around a long term trend, but I doubt it!

Uh yeah they closed that gap to the Brawn which was hardly being developed anymore.

I know this is a British site but do we really need all this McLaren crap?
