F1 » Turkish Grand Prix facing axe?


Rumours continue that Turkey may lose its slot on the F1 2011 calendar.

He must say this as the turks gave him the circuit nearly for free. Bud the unfinishd hotels, the gost town like houses on the way are a sign of no intrest by the turks. Berney must fast think up a idee to change the circuit. Maybe he can let the new teams test there for free and let them develop there cars.

I think in years to come, when the Turkish GP circuit lies abandoned, there will be a useful study there for historians wanting to understand if the great Greek and Egyptian constructions were left to wither because they too were commissioned by a vainglorious twit with more money than sense.

the only tilke circuit of any worth and they are about to axe it!

here's an idea... take precise measurments of the istanbul circuit, it's corners, gradient changes etc... and build an exact copy of it in Austin, Texas!!

think of all the design money they'll save... fia are trying to cut costs after all :)
