Robert Kubica scores points again and says his Renault R30 was probably a bit quicker than the Mercedes.

Still 6th overall so no damage done but no miracles. Race as expected so a little bit boring for Kubicas followers. Next step, overtaking Merc would be good to see.

It's up to the Renault development now with Kubica and current resurgent Petrov strong drive. They're strong and constant while eg. Ferrari not and I think in Scuderia F. they all strugling not only Alonso but he also does recently low job rather...so You can see "no big deal" but in second part of 2010 season RK&Co will show us all constance's advantage we can't see now:)

Renault is not running on luck anymore. I think Turkey Q3 was quite accurate reflection of each teams speed. They are keeping up with Merc and "only" need extra 0.100ss over them. Seems doable.
They think Renault is faster during the race so qalification speed is their weak point.

Kubica was seemingly faster than Nico in Turkey but unable to make a move. Still, a step in the right direction on a track where I expected them to struggle a bit so it bodes well for the rest.

The car is lighter on fuel and has a good traction, I wonder if it will help in Canada. Unless the long straight costs them too much.

You know why Kubica refused Ferrari approach? no? well, look at their struggling momentum, Shumi knew they lowered their ambitions. RK is smart. To ride inside king Ferrari which actually has problem with itself is no fun and bad advert.

Nico may have been slowing down a little enough to keep Kubica an Massa away from MSc. While Nico had to defend his position, Michael had a threat free drive.
