I can't understand why Force India acts like that. BJ is one of the richest man on the paddock and he does care for his reputation. I think it is something more than that. What if the team already owed people from the Jordan/Midland/Spycar days?

Anyways, I hope it does not turn into a trend.

PS: Tony and VJ are big competitors in their Airlines business and Tony only worked on Lotus after VJ came in :rolleyes:
Is he a copycat? :?

@ jasen,

I think you will find that there are quite a few organisations out there that are owed money by FI, and the court action thing is used by them a lot to bully people into leaving them alone, when you can afford the best legal firms then you can scare a lot of people. Yes VJ is a very wealthy man, but there are a lot of others pulling strings at FI and I think you might find that this goes back to the dyas of Colin Kolles and has become a habit. Why pay if you can get away with it! :rolleyes:

Lol yeah man that's very true. But I hope this time they turn out to be clean otherwise it could really hit Force India (more than Lotus).

I bet VJ would have asked Bernie and others about this before making such a bold claim. So I am sure he's not all alone in this :?

Anyways, I hope this is a not a 'off the air' politics between Tony and VJ. It is not just about Force India and Lotus but more about Kinsfisher and Air Asia :-o

@ Jasen - Where did you get the idea that it's more about AirAsia vs. Kingfisher Airlines? They're hardly rivals, since AirAsia hardly have a presence in India (their Indian destinations hardly overlapped Kingfisher's)

@M Bee

YOu are spot on, this has nothing to do with the airlines, I think you may find that its all about Mike Gascoyne. The FI team had targeted him for elimination from the day they took over and its no secret that there was no love lost between Kolles and Gascoyne. Kolles wanted Ralph but that was never going to happen with Gascoyne in place as they hated each other.

Mike Smith went to FI to be with GAscoyne and it was always on the cards that with him going to Lotus that Smith would follow .
