I know it has already been said but... if Vettel has passed Webber then there would not have been an issue.. when Vettel turned to the right there would have been nothing to hit. As for Webber asking the team to get Vettel to back off.. maybe he was in fear of the exact situation that occurred. One last thing.. I wish they would announce how much fuel Webber had in his tank at the end of the race ( I know it will never happen) As for RBR.. no longer a fan will now concentrate on drivers.

Bob, Webber half jokingly said in an interview, "that the pit crew must have put in fuel as well as a new nose cone" and given that he ran flat out to catch the McLarens and set fastest laps, would obviously tell he had been instructed to ramp the engine and went flat out for the next 18 laps.

I dont think anyone commented on this part of the RB incident but...

First I didnt see Vettel ahead
Second Vettel moved to the right abruptly

but most importantly ..

For the teams sake... why didnt they get on the radio and tell Webber to make way since Vettal had more speed and was faster?...

Whilst SV may have been faster at that point this was only because MW had accepted team orders to save fuel and turned his fueling down, SV had not received the same order, to my mind this is team orders, banned by MM several years ago. However just because another car is faster does not mean that the slower car has to give way, they were racing for position not one being lapped, however TV footage distinctly shows that SV actually swerved right hitting the side of his team mate, even SV admitted the car did not respond to the controls as he was actually going too fast to make the corner. :? :? :?
