F1 » 'Webber could have prevented the accident'

Whilst the majority of paddock observers pinned the blame on Sebastian Vettel for the collision between the two Red Bulls in Istanbul, one ex-F1 star suggests the immovable object should have given best to the irresistible force...

Right,

Bets of for who's render an opinion next:

Nicky Lauda
Jackie Stewart
Nick (the grinning fool) Fry
Johnny Herbert
Nigel Mansell
Stirling Moss
Max Mosley...think he already has

No disrespect to any of those name (apart from nick fry & mosley) but it's always the usual suspects on crash.net

How sad of Red Bull to get their friend to back up their nonsense. How sad of Berger to go along with this farce. It's about time they either just shut up about it, or admit that Vettel was at fault. Then MOVE ON!

i agree with gerhard to a point - webber COULD have avoided the incident
but why should he move out of the way and make it easy for someone to go past him?
perhaps you could say he should have because it was his team mate
but i don't think webber had any idea that vettel would turn into his path whether he was slightly ahead, alongside or where ever
i'm sorry, but it was vettel's fault

First Max, a good friend of Dietrich the red bull boss, and now Berger, a former torro rosso owner, glad they are looking at this in an impartial way. I'd rather stick to expert opinion thats not tied to red bull, like Niki Lauda, Brundle, Hamilton, Rosberg etc, etc.

He said it all it in one way, if it was another team than it was okay, but what Berger.. you should just wave through a team mate....Ha, Ha, Ha, best joke I've heard today. And lets not forget why Vettel was there challenging in the first place, but Horner's gone and been busted again hasn't he...Mark didn't ask for Vettel to be backed off according to radio...Oh well,
I'm sure Horner will have another tommorrow.

Hey Eddie, off topic, just need your opinion on something.....

Which of Horner's multiple stories do you believe, given that the BBC has in car radio disproving Horner's latest comment which was that "Mark asked him to back Vettel off". The radio translated in reality was "Webber had actually asked whether Vettel was on the same engine settings as him".
