"Does anybody else think that, bearing in mind that Buttons tyres looked by far the best of the leading three and he was catching Hamilton, that perhaps he was told to hold position and avoid what happened to Red Bull two weeks ago?"

No. He wasn't going to catch Lewis. Button was catching him and then Lewis put in fastest lap of the race on lap 62 (which Kupica reset on 67) so he had some in reserve.

I would like to add this to anyone that cares. This was an important race as it was broadcast on a national channel. This will make it easier on everyone that was/is interested in bringing F1 back to the states. It helped a lot! :)

It would seem that I've started a trend.

Eddie don't you get all the races on the same channel/programme over there? I find that odd.

Here the BBC cover every race and qualifying with an hour long build up and lengthy coverage after too. We also get all the practice sessions although that's not on the main channel.

@2PAC - I challenge you to find one comment that I have ever made that indicates that I am a bigot.

You are the one who speaks in a derogatory way about the Spanish, insults people based on appearence, and pulls the race card if anyone dares call Lewis "LuLu". Plus, your screen name is the name of someone resposible for the deaths of many black people.

@Timmy, No! I wish we did. As far as I know this would be the only race on Fox. The rest will be on Speed. Speed does a much better job. Lets put it this way, no pre-race anything and when I turned it on the drivers were on their warm up lap. Then right to the race. I will give them credit for not having as many commercials as they have had in the past. As far as the post race interviews go Alonso was not even included, just Button and Hammi. Thats how bad it is when Fox covers the race. :? :) :)
