McLaren-Mercedes' engineering director Paddy Lowe has warned teams and drivers to be careful what they wish for in terms of tyre-degradation, arguing that tyres that go off too quickly present something of a 'conflict of interest'

Lowe makes a good point. When is the FIA and FOTA going to stop demanding that tires solve all the problems with the general lack of racing in F1? Can we call F1 the pinnacle of motorsport when the participants are asking for inferior tires? And shame on Bridgestone for going along with them.
I suggest Pirelli supply road tires to F1 in 2011 and bank the money! And for heaven's sake don't waste any euros on advertising Pirelli's involvement with the soap opera of F1!
