Let me get this straight

Lewis serves his drive through penalty and it's Lewis' fault, the steward's fault, McLaren's fault that the field wasn't fast enough to be ahead of him so they cheated?

Is that you guys argument?

LH's penalty was probably marginal. He was neck and neck with the SC as it exited the pits. As he said, he thought he'd overtaken it so kept going, as he was going to get a penalty anyway. And yes, the penalty is fair if applied at the time, but being marginal, the stewards and Frentzen probably took some time deciding, hence the delay. This is not LH's fault. If you think it is, you just hate LH, no matter what he does. If LH had slowed down to get behind the SC, FA would probably have done a Webber on him.

And richard, your hatred of LH is just getting a bit much.

RawDawg, some people do hate him that much. So much that it makes them look a bit stupid.

@rawdawg, I am with you man. Alonso and Ferrari protest too much! Alonso got overtaken by Kobayashi on the penultimate lap for Chrissake! Is that Lewis' fault? When you become accustomed for years to the ever-helping hand of - erm - Ferrari International Assistance, I guess you lose some of the guts to fight and take it like a man! Lewis was second when the SC came out. Took his penalty and continued his right foot happiness. Finished second. Could have won this race. Heard him whining? Nope! Just got on with it. Learn Alonso, learn! Stop litigating and debating for results and start doing some serious driving!!

okay lets simple this down. if lewis didnt cheat and stayed behind the safty car he would of pitted when alonso did, his stop would of been longer than alonso's because of the nose cone change, thus coming out behind him and mayb others. but he gained an advantage by going past the sc when he shouldnt. if the penalty was quick of the mark not 20 odd mins later all would be fine. simple really.

Actually, its not Lewis' fault that the penalty didn't cost him much time.

Its the pitlane.

You can get through in 16 seconds... tracks like Malaysia take what, 22?

I'm sorry, richard. But it doesn't wash. LH is the only driver that you happily give a derogatory nickname to. What's wrong with LH? Most of your posts that I read are negative towards either him or McLaren. If you can't see it, then I can't say any more.

calvin. i certainly did not start off calling him lulu, and there is nothing derogatory about it. i also use nicknames for other drivers. many others also use the diminitive, lulu, but i dont see you attacking them! yeah, im not keen on mclaren, thanks to uncle ron (will you complain about that too?) i post as i see.if you dont like it, ok, but there is no need to read my posts, or to talke any notice of any nickname i use.

Why not use the forum to discuss and debate the topic?
