F1 » Schumacher 'doing an excellent job', criticism 'unfair'

As he comes under fire from all corners of the paddock for his listless, off-colour form thus far in 2010, F1 record-breaker Michael Schumacher has at least found one ally to defend his performances with Mercedes Grand Prix...

it's to early to say he is a flop when he left benneton and went to ferrari it took 4 years to turn the donkey around so it is early days and mercedes gp are still in their infancy in f1 at present so dont write him off yet

@Barry

I've been saying the same thing but canada was a truly awful race by him.

This year is written of my Merc despite what they might say, if he isn't on the pace next season his reputation will be in tatters I suspect, I expected a bit more but the car is a dog.

Shuey is part of the Mercedes team and has a lot of influence within it.

if schumacher is doing an excellent job, then someone at mercedes is having a real stinker, it could be his side of the garage, as rosbergs team, who hasnt been pulling up trees, are doing something better

I was never really a fan, but i dont want to see him fail and this season is quite painful to watch. If he was beating his team mate i think people would get off his back. I guess Brawn will be building a Schumacher car for next year and then he will have to deliver.
