What I would like to see now (even though I know it will never happen) would be for FOTA to say "Bernie, you are right, F1 does not need us" and then all leave to set up their own series.

he's the one who insisted on more teams and bought in all the back markers ..such as Virgin , HRT & fake Lotus...FOTA should have done the break away and have been done with buffoonery of the mad midget and his boring Tilke designed race tracks in the deserts of the middle east

I think Bernie is scared of the power that FOTA can wield over time. He is doesn't want to lose any of his power over the teams and if they can stand together as a united front(FOTA)he might have a problem on his hands.
