Ferrari keeps its 1-2 in the German Grand Prix for now at least, as the FIA refers the matter to the WMSC and hands out a $100,000 fine

HHHHMMMMnnn bit of a cop out there I feel! 100k is probably a price they are happy to pay, it's only the price of a couple of steering wheels,

I strongly suspect no further action will be taken at the WMSC, either that or a suspended race ban, either way, they will have the points still on the board and a precedent will be set that allows abiet a more cloak and dagger approach to implementing team orders, real shame, there was a chance to lay a marker here!!

This is a ridiculous token (compare McLaren's $100m fine). They are saying that it is OK for Ferrari (Alonso) to keep the 5 points he got by cheating. Imagine if he ends up champion by 2 points...
